Become a Volunteer

Thank you for your interest in volunteering!  St. Louis Audubon Society relies on volunteers to help carry out our mission to create community connections to nature through education and conservation.

What volunteer opportunities are available?

Education

Conservation

  • Habitat Work (e.g. tree planting)
  • Birdbox Monitoring
  • Native Landscaping
  • BirdSafeSTL Surveys

Other

  • Photography/Video
  • Fundraising

Ready to get started? All applicants are required to complete the following:

  • Fill out an application (see “Sign Up Now” below)
  • Orientation with Audubon staff
  • Pass a background check (Required only for volunteers facilitating youth programs)
  • Report hours on “Volunteer Log Form”
