See new guidelines and procedures for SLAS field trips and beginner walks here.
Join others who share your interests in nature, birds and wildlife! Enjoy a variety of natural areas around the St. Louis metropolitan area with experienced guides on a variety of bird walks each month. Trips are open to people of all ages, including families. All experience levels are welcome.

Registration is limited to 20.
Times: 8 am – 12:30 pm
Location: Cuivre River State Park
Meeting Place and Directions:
Carpooling location for Cuivre River SP, at Exit 220 on I-70; see second paragraph of directions here. From there we will drive to Cuivre River and spend the first half of our morning there. We will then proceed to Winfield Dam and Sandy Chute to see what we can find.
