This bird walk is offered in partnership with Great Rivers Greenway. We invite you to join others who share your interest in nature, birds, and wildlife! All experience levels welcome.
LOCATION: We will gather on April 27 at the St. Vincent Shelter in St. Vincent County Park, located at 7335 St. Charles Rock Road, St. Louis, MO 63133. See Google Maps location here- https://maps.app.goo.gl/Tc9P5gmwVdLXSsTN6.
- From St. Charles Rock Road, turn into St. Vincent County Park (to the left of the gas station). Go 0.5 mile and turn right (before you get to the Community Center). Go 0.3 mile until you reach the parking lot at the end of the road (past the picnic shelter).
TIME: 8 am – 10:30 am
A beginner bird walk is a short (two hours or less) walk along a path or trail, either around a loop or out-and-back. It is designed, broadly, to help participants see as many birds as possible, and in particular to become familiar with a good variety of our commoner birds.
