Generous startup funding was provided in 2012 and 2013 by Missouri American Water and the Missouri Department of Conservation (MDC). Additional funding has been provided by the Kei and Susan Pang Charitable Fund and The Trio Foundation of St. Louis. Program service fees, miscellaneous donations and event revenue also cover a significant part of program expenses.
In addition to the major startup funding referenced above, MDC has provided significant in-kind and technical support since the program began. In 2014, a multi-year, renewable cooperative agreement was initiated in which MDC is providing funding that covers over one-third of program expenses. We work closely with the private lands and community conservation staff in the St. Louis region and are so very pleased to be an MDC partner.
